My iPhone 4 Case

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

I never really wanted to use a case for my iPhone 4; I was compelled to get one not because of the media-sensationalized “Antennagate” (a.k.a., the “Death Grip”) but because of so many reports of the *back* of the phone easily breaking.

At first I got one of the MiniSuit iPhone case, which gets the job done, but makes the phone thick!  I ended up getting a Bumper (for free, of course) and just applying the BestSkinsEver back protective cover.

The Best iPhone RSS Reader: Reeder

Friday, April 16th, 2010

Since I got my iPhone some 1.5 years ago, I have tried a LOT of RSS readers. One major requirement for me is that it should sync with my Google Reader account. Name any RSS reader and chances are I’ve used it.

I stuck with the Google Reader client on Safari because despite the obnoxiously-large ads, it was the best RSS reader for me.

That is…until today, when I found the new kid on the block: Reeder. It’s fast, navigation is simple yet effective, it syncs with my Google Reader account and one more option that I really like: send to Instapaper.

It is really awesome, which explains the near-flawless rating on the App store. All the developer needs to do now is to update it to make it iPad-friendly!

Back to the iPhone…For Now

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010

The BlackBerry novelty has definitely worn off…I could not stand using the thing anymore…so I’m back to my iPhone as my main mobile phone for the time being and have the BB as my phone of choice if I anticipate to use tethering.

I started to use the iPhone without any protective case (i.e., the way Jonathan Ive wants the iPhone to be used)…I forgot how thin this thing is.
