Operation Chokehold

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

All AT&T subscribers (particularly iPhone users) are encouraged to participate in Operation Chokehold this Friday to give AT&T a hard lesson it deserves. Note that only data is affected by this, not voice lines so if you need to make a call (emergency or not) while the operation is in progress you should be fine.

Make sure to turn off your WiFi during the event.

Short-Term Goals

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

By the end of January 2010, I should be able to program in Cocoa (Objective-C) without having to look at a Mac programming book
every 5 minutes.
By the end of spring 2010, I should have reached my goal weight already! Losing the last 9 lbs. have proven to be *very* difficult.
By the end of fall 2010, I should have completed my first half-marathon.

Blurbs

I watched “Dan in Real Life” on cable last night. It was a surprisingly good film…considering Dane Cook was in it. I don’t particularly like Steve Carell, but I sort of knew he could play a serious role without trying too hard (unlike Jim Carrey) after seeing “Little Miss Sunshine.”
