Migrating WordPress DB to MySQL 5
My web hosting provider (ICDSoft) can finally shut down my MySQL4 databases without feeling guilty. 
Oh, in case someone out there is using ICDSoft and WordPress connected to MySQL4…ICDSoft provides a migration page to have your databases converted to MySQL5. Then all you need to do is update your wp-config.php to use the new database AND make sure to use ‘localhost:/tmp/mysql5.sock’ as ‘DB_HOST’.
