It’s “Than”, Not “Then”, You Twat.

So many times I’ve come across sentences written like this:

blah is bigger then bleh
blah is longer then bleh
blah is fewer then bleh

The word is “than”, not “then.”  Annoying.

Here’s a rule of thumb: if you’re doing comparisons, use “than”; if describing a sequence of events or enumeration, use “then”–as in:

If you still use “than” inappropriately, only then will I kick your ass.
