Ever since posting the GR-D review, this site’s unique visitors has increased by a factor of 6!  The review has been linked to a number of websites, too…For once, I think I did something right here. I am now in the process of writing another review (commence cringing now)…don’t hold your breath, though…this one may take a while.  If that next review proves to be another hit, then I think this thing would be a regular thing on this blog. 

One thing I would promise from this review forward: Each review will be totally unique–i.e., you will never see a cookie-cutter/template review here, folks!  And I will be as politically-incorrect as I need to be.  I’m probably getting ahead of myself here…but hell, this is my blog.

Yes, and I’m serious this time.  I love this camera!  This is the next best thing to lugging around an SLR…As I’m preparing for the review (which would hopefully drive traffic to this pathetic website), I have these GR-D pr0ns…

Yes, I’ve tried Akismet, but the I still found myself deleting so much spam in my blog.  So what’s the next option?  Stop those bastard robot spammers dead on their tracks: I deleted my blog I started using one of those thingies that generates a random text image on the comment page.  There are a number of plugins for WP to add this to your site.  I struggled for a while with SecureImage, but I keep getting broken image links even after providing the correct path to ImageMagick convert utility.  In the end I settled with Captcha!. 

Finally, my blog will be free of spam…and will be free of any comment…

You’ve probably heard of a thousand takes on this question.  Here’s mine, and why I’m right and the ones who oppose are wrong: Nintendo is going to win the console war this generation. 

Sure, Nintendo doesn’t have the most powerful console in terms of CPU and Graphics capabilities…heck, they don’t even have support for HDTVs.  While I believe that the Revolution will not be too far behind in terms of CPU/Graphics specs, they will manage to actually EARN money from selling the console…as opposed to Microsoft/Sony who LOSE money for each console sold, and rape consumers by charging a fortune on software…which brings me to my next point:

Nintendo can afford to sell software at a lower price point.  Imagine a kick-ass game available on both Rev and, say, PS3.  PS3 costs $10 more…I don’t know about you, but prettier graphics isn’t worth $10 more to me.
