I just got back from a trip out of town, and I have to rant about this so-called "better" airport security as a result of this incumbent's personal war against terrorism.

Making the long story short: IT'S BOTH STUPID AND IMPRACTICAL. I've had the luck of having a stomach virus the last time I went on vacation, and believe me, it's like hell having the need to vomit every 5 minutes WHILE in line your personal belongings "scrutinized" as if it has WMD in them.

I'm using the term "scrutinized" loosely here, folks...because the security retards in the airport aren't that much more efficient despite the new technology on security.

I don't feel much "safer" with the new airport security measures...I just don't.
