- I got the "regular" edition. And it came with FIVE CD-ROMs. You ought to get the "director's cut" edition (which costs more) to get the DVD-ROM edition. what the hell? Would it kill Sierra/Monolith to provide a DVD option for the "regular" edition? I mean, really, for anyone going to play this game he should at least have a DVD-ROM drive...which brings me to my next point...
- This game requires a rig that would reauire a second mortgage. I have a 6600GT on the AMD 64 939 3000+ with 1 GB RAM. You'd think it's OK enough to run this game. NOT EVEN CLOSE. This game requires at least a 6800GT to really make it playable.
- As for the game itself, I already mentioned that it's too damn repetitive. The "creepy" part are too far in between and doesn't really make sense at all...especially at the end...why is it when I get transported into this weird dimension, when I return to the real world all i have is my puny .45?
- Yeah those enemy AI are intelligent alright, they can see you a mile away, even when you're covered with shadows. Furthermore, they have cool moves like shooting blindly from a corner or shooting backwards while running away from you, and they can turn over tables for cover...I mean, why can't *I* do those moves, huh?!
- The last part has no boss, and it's so like "The Ring" ripoff.
- Did I mention this game is repetitive?
Grr.
