At the Microsoft PDC they had a special on this device. They announced it during the keynote. At about 5 minutes after the announcement, a significant number of attendees left and pre-ordered the damned thing. Bastards.

One of those attendees was me. I'm not an idiot like the suckers who stuck around with that creepy guy (no, not Bill Gates; the *other* creepy guy whose name I could not care less to remember...) blabbing about how good Microsoft is, and blabbing some more with condescending remarks about the importance of developers and making their lives easier...bleh.

Anyway, I got the device for a $150. Its MSRP is $1K. more later. I just wanted my 3 readers to wet themselves.
